Performers are highly skilled, trained, talented of all ages who can perform a combination of classical, contemporary, folkloric and pop Egyptian dances. Dancers perform with various props depending on the client's preference and/or the dancer's choice including veils, cane, candelabra, sword, wings, etc. Sohaila's Academy of Artistic Dance offers family friendly performances. Sohaila and her Dancers Talents include:

• Egyptian Belly dance - Raks sharki, or cabaret style
• Khalleegy - A dance from the Gulf region
• Saidi - Folkloric dance with the use of Cane
• Zills - Finger cymbals
• Veil
• Candelabra - Used for a zeffa; the walking in of the bride and groom at wedding receptions
• Debke - A traditional Lebanese dance
• Sword
• Group Choreographs - Add extra excitement with the dynamics of a group performance.

Professional Services:

• Performance Packages (15 minutes - 2 hour shows)
• Workshops, Dance Classes, Demo Performances and Greetings
• Zeffa - Wedding Precision (10-20 minutes)

All performances may be customized to fit your needs and may include anywhere from 1-10 dancers...or more! A full 3 - piece traditional Arabic band can also be provided upon request, to include a drummer, a keyboard player, an oud player and optional Arabic singer.
